Smart Classroom Initiative for DeMatha English Medium School, Assam
DeMatha English Medium School, a mission initiative of the Trinitarian Fathers in India, is located in the rural village of Tulsibari, Assam. Inspired by the redemptive charism of St. John de Matha, the school strives to provide quality and holistic education to children, especially those from economically disadvantaged rural communities. To improve the quality of teaching and learning, the school plans to establish Smart Classrooms that will enable teachers to use digital resources, interactive lessons, and multimedia presentations. This initiative will make learning more engaging and help students gain exposure to modern educational technology. The project proposes installing TeachmintX 65” Star Smart Boards featuring a 4K UHD display, Octa-core CPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, Android 14 (Google EDLA certified), 40W inbuilt speakers, and 5G Wi-Fi connectivity. The school plans to equip 5 classrooms with this technology. The estimated cost per classroom is $1,200, bringing the total project cost to approximately $6,000. Your generous support will help bring digital learning opportunities to students in this rural mission school and significantly enhance the quality of education they receive.
